There are roughly 1.7 million postcodes in the UK.
Each postcode covers an average of about 15 properties. However, in some instances a postcodes can hold up to 100 properties.
New postcodes get added and old, unused, postcodes get terminated. The entire Postcode Address File (PAF) is maintained by Royal Mail.
Our postcode lookup service does not use the PAF, so may not return the postal address as defined by Royal Mail
therefore it should not be used to verify things like credit card addresses.
... did you know that most of the major search engines don't use the PAF either !
We aim to provide a constant and accurate service, however there may be rare occaisions when a postcode is not found or only partial information is returned.
We offer free help and advice in the use of this service to registered customers, and can also offer other coding help for maps etc. please note - this will be chargeable.

Whilst every effort is made to keep the lookup service "live" and working, EasyClient accepts no responsibilty for problems arising from services supplied by third parties.
The service is to be used by the primary owner only with a valid API key suplied by us, registered users are not permitted to resell, store or give away the services of their account to other parties even if it is for free.
High Resource Usage Policy
Lookups are limited to 1 per second.
Resources are defined as bandwidth, disk space and/or processor utilization.
EasyClient may implement the following policy to its sole discretion:
When an account is found to be monopolising the resources available EasyClient reserves the right to suspend that account immediately. This policy is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to prevent the misuse of our servers.
Should you wish to cancel your account with EasyClient or terminate any service you must write to us giving 7 days notice. On receipt of a cancellation request we will reply with confirmation that your request has been actioned.
Refund requests for unused credits will be looked at on an individual basis.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018). Any information that is stored is done so securely and responsibly.
Information gathered on contact or registration forms is not saved or shared and only used to reply to your comments / enquiry or supply service(s).

We are required under UK tax law to keep details of purchases for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.
